Best of Vancouver: Skiing and Snowboarding with Kids

Here in Vancouver we’re lucky to have three local mountains to choose from when we want to escape the city and play in the snow. Whether you’re skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or tubing, there are lots of ways to blow off a little steam and enjoy the winter. And the best part is that, most of the time, you can leave the snow behind on the mountain when you head back into the city. With all the natural beauty surrounding us, we decided it was time for another Best of Vancouver feature. This time, we’re asking you about going skiing and snowboarding with your kids.

Each of the three local mountains have something different to offer. Depending on the age and ability level of your kids, you may find that one is better than the other. That preference may change, as well. But in the Best of Vancouver there can be only one. Today we want you to tell us which mountain is your favourite to visit with your kids. Or, to put it another way, which Vancouver mountain offers the most kid-friendly programs, skiing and snowboarding lessons, terrain and so on? Cast your vote and make your voice heard!

Cast Your Vote

The poll runs until 11:59pm on December 7, 2012. You may vote only once. To find out which Vancouver mountain offers the best skiing and snowboarding for kids, come back on December 11, 2012, when we’ll give the results in this Best of Vancouver feature.

In the meantime, feel free to weigh in with your comment. Which local mountain do you most enjoy visiting? And what do you most enjoy doing there with your kids – skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing, or something else altogether? Leave us a reply and let us know.
