Trying to decide where to eat in Vancouver gets a lot more complicated once you have kids, as any mom can tell you. Once you’re a mom you have to think about things like children’s menus, change tables, high chairs, stroller accessibility and whether there are crayons on the tables. And even if all those magical ingredients are in place, you still have to contend to with nap schedules, picky eaters and other diners who may not enjoy sitting next to your boisterous toddler. We know – we’re moms, too.

One of the things that we pride ourselves on here at VancouverMom.ca is having the inside scoop on where to eat in Vancouver with kids. We all know that family restaurants are a pretty safe bet, but there are lots of funky, cool, out-of-the-way eateries that are surprisingly child-friendly. That’s why we share reviews of great local restaurants with you regularly. We believe that part of loving where you live means knowing where to get a great dinner that will leave the whole family smiling.
