You Say: Share Your Vancouver Holiday Traditions

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been sharing some of our favourite Vancouver holiday traditions with you. The truth is, there are just too many to count. Vancouver loves to celebrate. Whether we’re taking in the Peak of Christmas on Grouse Mountain, riding the train at Bright Nights in Stanley Park, taking in the beautiful displays at Van Dusen Gardens, sharing the Woodward’s Windows with our children or waiting for that photo with Santa, there’s no shortage of things to cross off your list of what to do in Vancouver during the Christmas season.
Your Favourite Holiday Traditions
One thing we do know for sure is that if you want to know what’s happening in this city, there’s no better resource than Vancouver moms. We are creating holiday magic for our children, and that means we’re tuned in to all of the fabulous and family-friendly seasonal fun. We will be sharing more of our Vancouver holiday favourites as we count down to Christmas, but we really want to hear from you. That’s why we’re inviting you to share your family’s favourite Vancouver traditions. We’ll be compiling your answers into an article, which we’ll share on Christmas Eve. Since most of these events run through the end of the year (or beyond), there’s still time to cross some more great local fun off your list.
Four Ways to Share
If you’re willing to weigh in with your favourite holiday traditions, there are four ways to do it:
[ordered_list style=”decimal”]- Leave a reply at the end of this article. It’s fast, it’s easy, and we’d love to hear from you.
- Tweet us. Our handle is @vancouver_mom. Use the hashtag #VMtraditions, and we’ll include your response.
- Connect on Facebook. We’ll be asking about your favourite holiday traditions on our Facebook page. Leave a reply!
- Instagram it. Take a photo of your family participating in their favourite Vancouver holiday tradition, and share it on Instagram with the hashtag #VMtraditions. (PS – Did you know we’re on Instagram?)
Now it’s your turn. What are your favourite Vancouver holiday traditions?

We love going to VanDusen gardens for the light show and last year we went to the Bloedel Conservatory for the first time to see their light display and the birds. We’re bird lovers.
