The Sum of Great Style: Cool Summer Working Outfit

Officially summer has arrived, but are you ready for the change in weather?  Your closet may fall into one of two categories: either it’s stocked full of flip flops, capris and v-neck Ts so you go way too casual at work; or you’re dreading the summer months hoping you can still get away with your dark and heavy autumn pieces.

First, lighten up by choosing a great pair of white- or tan-coloured pants.  Although those of us who are more curvaceous might seem daunting to wear a light coloured bottom, balance it out with a wide leg.  These great fitting ones from Old Navy are only $26.50.

Every successful mompreneur and professional must have a fabulous fitted blazer in their closet.  It’s the strongest way to up your visual credibility with a simple wardrobe change.  Leave it at the office so you’re prepared for unexpected management visits.  Throw it on to close your next deal. Now given we have so many options for a layering piece, we decided to go with a vivacious pop of colour to ring in the long awaited summer weather.   Go bold and do the unexpected with your outfit.  Play with some colour and shock your colleagues with your sense of style.
