Full Circle: My Mom and Me – Kymm Hunter

In this series, we invited some of our local moms to have photos taken with their moms, and talk to us about their relationship. As we get older, it’s not uncommon to find ourselves caring for our parents as well as our own family.
Local mom Kymm Hunter says now she listens to all her mom’s advice, but that maybe it wasn’t always that way. “I find I struggled as a teen with many things she and my dad said (or didn’t say). [But now] I listen to all my moms advice — I ask her before anyone else! I may not take every piece of it but I value her input. So pretty much everything since I became a mom!”
And what does she say to her kids, that her mom always said to her? “Because I said so!” I think most of us can relate to that one, for sure.
