Favourite Thing for Your Kids
Kozy mei tai. This baby carrier is the perfect combination of ease-of-use, functionality, and style. It provides the baby with the comfort and security of being close to his mom, lets me get things done around the house, and makes for easy stroller-free trips while out and about.
Favourite Thing for You
My laptop. I love that I can carry it from room to room, allowing me to follow recipes in the kitchen, do work in the living room, or browse the web while putting the baby to sleep in the bedroom.
Favourite Thing for Work
Google Calendar. Perfect for keeping track of all aspects of my life, I appreciate its many features that allow me to view, hide, and share various calendars.
Favourite Place in Vancouver
Maplewood Farm in North Vancouver. My son can spend hours climbing around with the goats and feeding the rabbits, and their central picnic area is ideal for lunch or a snack afterwards.
Favourite Birthday Gift Idea
Magazines. Great for children and adults alike, it’s a gift they can look forward to and enjoy each month all year long.
Favourite Kids Book
Stellaluna by Janell Cannon. The artwork is beautiful and the story is endearing. My preschooler requests it often and it is one children’s book I’m happy to read to him over and over!
Favourite Restaurant
Sushi Town in North Burnaby. The food is unfailingly excellent and the busy atmosphere makes it a good place to bring noisy children. They also offer take-out service if you prefer to eat in the comfort of your own home.
