Spring Beauty Trends Fit for Mom
Guest post by Zinnat Ali.
With running from soccer practices, to ballet recitals, to play dates, it’s pretty much impossible to keep up with ever-changing beauty and fashion trends. Luckily, the trends for this spring can be achieved easily, leaving you looking fabulous while you run around being mom.
Nice and neutral
The natural look is always big for spring and doesn’t require a lot of effort. Create flawless skin with some tinted moisturizer and a little under eye concealer to hide dark circles. Add a slight flush to your cheeks by brushing bronzer along your cheekbones and finish with mascara, a natural-looking gloss and voila! You’ll look chic and trendy while cheering on your soccer player from the sidelines! Bright and bold
The fashion world is full of contradictions. While neutrals are hot for spring, so are bright, bold colours. Coral is one the hottest shades this season: swipe on a coral lip gloss for a quick pop of colour. Or, if you want to try something a little bolder, try a fuchsia lipstick. Downplay the rest of your look, and your bold lips will shine like your little ballet dancer under the spotlight! Glitz and glam
The kids are with the babysitter for the night and you’ve got a play date planned with your partner. Turn up the heat with a classic look that’s hot for spring — smokey eyes. Sweep a neutral colour along the entire lid and then apply a darker shadow (like a grey, plum or black) in the crease, blending the darker colour into the lighter shade. Line the top and bottom lash lines and follow with a black volumizing mascara; all eyes will be on you all night!
