Why you don’t want to miss the Wesbrook Festival!

Looking for a little end of first week of school / back-to-work celebration? The Wesbrook Village Festival never disappoints and it’s FREE! From a Kid’s Zone to live music and from local artisans to a free family BBQ, the 7th annual Fest has something for everyone from big to small.
Six reasons to come to the Wesbrook Festival this Saturday
Check out this short video to get a taste of the Fest!
It’s FREE
This afternoon live entertainment, fun activities and great food is totally free!
Live music for kids (and parents)!
Don’t miss rock stars to the little ones, family & CBC fave Will Stroet and his toe-tapping, sing along performance at 11:30 am. Get ready to move! PS: Also performing on the Main Stage are vintage vocal trio the Beauty Shop and Vancouver’s favourite Dance Band (celebrating over 20 years of spreading the joy) Dr. Strangelove.
Kid’s Zone
Kids won’t want to leave the Kid’s Zone with its bouncy castles, swing rides, face painting and more.
Signature BBQ
There’s no need to pack a lunch, just join in the Festival’s signature BBQ, and taste samples from local eateries and community retailers including Doughgirls Comfort Kitchen and Bakeshop, Freshii, and the soon to open Virtuous Pie (for vegan and vegetarian options). BierCraft Restaurant will also be hosting a Happy Hour Beer Garden for those in need of a frosty libation and a snack.
Artisan market place
Feel the urge to pick up some hand-crafted goodies? Artisans will be on hand with their local goods.
Four amazing playgrounds
If the kids need a crowd break, head out to one of Wesbrook Village’s four spectacular playgrounds? We love Nobel Park for its pond, river and foresty feel.
Celebrate with them on September 9; they can’t wait to welcome you! Free event parking available as well.
