Free Art Workshops for Kids aged 6 to 18!

We are hosting a series of FREE art workshops for children and teens, funded by the City of Vancouver and ArtStats! These workshops, revolve around different themes that participants will explore using traditional Indian art techniques. We all know that India is so rich in culture and traditions and art has the power to express stories, emotions, and heritage in ways words cannot, making it an essential tool for cultural continuity and mindfulness. Through art, we can preserve these traditions, spark meaningful cultural dialogue, and nurture creativity. By creating together, we empower the next generation to embrace their roots while shaping a more inclusive and diverse future.

These workshops will explore:

• Identity – Bindi Art
• Celebrations – Lippan Art
• Landscapes – Fabric Art
• Flora and Fauna – Block Printing / Lino Cut
• Meditative – Mandala Art
