This Halloween, dive to the darkest depths of The Haunted Sea at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site and explore what lurks in the fathoms below!  Encounter spooky sea creatures and twisted tentacles floating alongside historic legends and sea lore.  Entertain your imagination with games, crafts, activities and a journey into the deep and learn about the true terror of the seas!

The historic cannery in Steveston celebrates Halloween with the return of The Haunted Sea – colourful undersea decor created from recyclable materials, kept from haunting the real ocean depths, transforms the Herring Reduction Plant for our annual event. Drop-in between 11am to 4pm, and enjoy Halloween crafts, activities, and treats. Suitable for kids of all ages – costumes are encouraged!
