Back for its 13th year, the Vancouver Christmas Tree Lighting takes place on Friday, November 29th at Robson Square. Watch four magnificent holiday trees, one of which is 76 feet tall, come alive with hope and light. This free family-friendly event features live entertainment and music plus free cookies and hot chocolate!  Come experience holiday magic at its best! Complete your night with a visit and photo with Santa and his elves!  Come experience this festive Vancouver tradition!

In addition to the festivities, the tree lighting ceremony in Vancouver is for a great cause. Before and at the event, we encourage you to make a donation to the Vancouver International Children’s Festival Society. Your charitable donations help the Children’s Festival enrich the lives of children and ensure the Festival remains affordable for everyone.
