Vancouver International Children’s Festival Returns with World-Class Fun

Are you ready for a week of pure magic and delight? The Vancouver International Children’s Festival is back, and it’s bringing a world of entertainment right to Granville Island! Families will have the chance to experience a spectacular lineup of performances and activities designed to captivate and inspire young minds. Whether you have a tiny tot or a curious preschooler, there’s something for everyone at this year’s festival. So, mark your calendars and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime!

2025 Festival Details

The festival occurs May 26 – June 1 in person on Granville Island. You can expect world-class theatre, music, dance, circus, puppetry and storytelling performers who come from all over the world to entertain Vancouver children and families. 

Whipped Up!

Get ready to giggle at Whipped Up!—a comedy where babies rule the diner! It’s Dottie’s first day serving at a 1950s-style joint, but her pint-sized “customers” aren’t making it easy. With babies calling the shots and chaos unfolding, this playful performance is packed with laughs for grown-ups and sensory fun for little ones.

Sing the World! with Ginalina and Friends

Get ready to sing, dance, and discover the world through music in Sing the World! Travel across continents with joyful folk songs from Korea to Benin, India to France—and more!

Join Juno-nominated Ginalina, djembe master Yoro Noukoussi, and guzheng artist Sarah Yusha Tan for an interactive, musical mystery the whole family will love. Each show features a special guest and a new cultural tune to explore!

Club Origami

Rip, fold, and let your imagination fly in Club Origami! This playful, hands-on dance show invites families to explore a world made of paper through movement, music, and creativity.

Perfect for little ones and grown-ups alike, it’s an interactive adventure where anything is possible—just one twist at a time!
