What to do in Vancouver: Family Programs at the Art Gallery

If you find yourself waking up on a Sunday morning and wondering what to do in Vancouver for some indoor fun, you might want to consider a visit to the Vancouver Art Gallery for these two new initiatives that make this an even more kid-friendly Vancouver destination than it already was:
- Weekly Family Programs are being held every Sunday throughout the year.
- Kids 12 and under get in free on Sundays.
What to do in Vancouver for Kid-Friendly Fun
The Weekly Family Programs are geared towards kids 12 and under and their parents. If you drop by you can join the gallery’s team of Art Agents, who will bring the exhibitions to life. Then take what you’ve learned and visit The Making Place, where you can experiment with various artistic materials, processes and themes in creative, hands-on activities. Feel free to bring some friends along, as well – the gallery recommends a ratio of one adult for every four children, which means that most of us can squeeze in an extra kid or two.
Art Agents programs, child-oriented Art Tracks Tours, and The Making Place are open from 12:00-4:00pm on Sundays.
