Did you hear that the musical Wicked is coming back to Vancouver? This immensely popular show is taking over the Queen Elizabeth Theatre from May 28 to June 29. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked fills us in on what was happening with The Land of Oz, The Emerald City and The Yellow Brick Road long before Dorothy and Toto. It centres around Glinda and Elphaba, better known as The Good Witch and The Wicked Witch of The West. It’s the story of an unlikely friendship, and how lives are shaped by love, ambition and accomplishments. It’s a very popular show, so be sure to get your tickets ASAP at ticketmaster.ca.
Vancouver Moms are Defying Gravity
One of our favourite songs from the musical Wicked is “Defying Gravity”, which speaks about trusting your instincts and making your own rules. As moms we know all about charting our own course. We’re excited to have two tickets to the opening night on May 28. In order to enter this Wicked giveaway, we’re asking you to tell us how you’re defying gravity and trusting your instincts as a mom. We will gather some of your responses into an article to run after the contest closes, because we know that all moms can use a little more inspiration.
