You Say: What Your Kids are Wearing this Halloween

There’s just one week to go until the big day. We shared some great costume ideas yesterday – but what are Vancouver moms planning for their little ones this Halloween? We asked you, and you shared your answers with us on Facebook. If you’re still looking for the perfect costume idea, read on for lots of great suggestions.

What are Your Kids Wearing This Halloween?

Sara Searle‘s kids are going with a theme. “Our almost six year old son is going as Peter Pan and the four year old is Captain Hook.”

Ginger Leah Gervais says her kids are feeling super, “My daughter wants to be Catwoman…my son wants to be Green Lantern!”

Rebecca Shupe‘s children are also feeling super this Halloween. “Boy and girl, both superheroes.”

Caro Alarie is starting her baby young. “Our three year old girl wants to be her book hero Ladybug Girl, and our five month old boy’s going to be in the Baby Bjorn as a popcorn bag.” We have to admit, that sounds pretty cute!

Kimberly Ray shares, “My 16 month old girl will be a zebra!” Add one more to the totally adorable column.

Cassie Allard and her little one are dressing up together. “Two year old will be curious George because he’s OBSESSED with that little monkey. I have a banana costume for myself.”

Jessica Belanger‘s kiddo will be scoring points for creativity. “My seven year old daughter is going as a pink Crayola crayon.”

Top 30 Vancouver Mom Blogger Jen Kossowan shares, “Gracen decided weeks ago (out of nowhere) that she wanted to be a ‘brown fox’. She’s talked about it everyday since.”

Rhona Young shares her kids’ planned outfits. “Our eight year old wants to go as Doctor Who and our six year old is going as Minnie Mouse.”

Harriet Fancott is still debating. She says, “I probably won’t, but I would love to dress Theo as Max from Where the Wild Things Are.” We have to admit, we’d love to see that.

Kyenta Martins says, “My one and a half year old girl will be a dinosaur and my three and a half year old girl will be a very pink, very sparkly superhero.”

Shannon Banal‘s daughter is coordinating with a friend this Halloween. “Three year old is going as Sister Bear. Her four year old bestie is going as Brother Bear.”

Britt Baxter-Bellas says, “My three year old boy wants to be an aye aye.”

Lisseth Ramos is dressing up both her little ones. “My 6 year old son as Superman, and my now 7 week old son as baby Superman.”

Oralie Loong‘s kiddo is getting into the Halloween spirit. “My three yearr old son wants to be a skeleton so he can scare everyone!”

Erin Wilson is thinking outside the box. “My eight month old little girl will be either Elton John, a Lumberjack or Ellen….depends on what items I can find for the costume…”

Shannon Dean shares her little one’s costume choice. “Fireman. Though he keeps saying is going to be a firetruck.”

Whatever your costume choice this Halloween, we hope the day is happy, and the candy is plentiful!
