City Mom Now: Especially for Fraser Valley Moms

Vancouver-area moms will want to pay special attention to City Mom Now Fraser Valley. Under the watchful eye of fearless City Leader Danielle Christopher, CMN Fraser Valley is covering Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Langley, Abbotsford, Chiliwack, Kent, Harrison, Hope and Mission. That means that if you live in one of those cities, you’ll want to add the site to your must-read list.

Chatting with City Leader Danielle Chrisopher

We recently connected with Danielle, who we’ve known personally for some time, to find out more about her and CMN Fraser Valley. She shares, “We moved to Langley when I was pregnant with my first child. We wanted a better neighborhood to raise our baby in. Also it was convenient for my husband to commute for work.” A lot of local moms can probably relate to that move out to the suburbs that often accompanies new parenthood.

What surprises many new arrivals to the Fraser Valley, Danielle included, is just how much there is to see and do. “I began to explore the Fraser Valley. Quickly I fell in love with all of the communities and what they have to offer, from big box stores to local farms. When I need to get to Surrey or Vancouver I can hop onto Highway 1.”

Love Where You Live

Just a couple of months into her role as a City Leader, Danielle is enjoying herself and looking ahead. She says, “I love sharing all the great finds around town with moms.” We can relate – it’s our favourite part of being part of VancouverMom.ca.
